Scope Statement

Ozark Compost & Swap, LLC Scope:

Ozark Compost & Swap, LLC will provide customers with one 5-gallon bucket for composting and one new compostable bag at each pickup.  Buckets are under the ownership of Ozark Compost & Swap, LLC and shall be returned if a service is cancelled or terminated, unless permission is granted by Ozark Compost & Swap, LLC.

Customers will have a guaranteed pickup depending on the frequency of service of that week.

Swap products provided by Ozark Compost & Swap, LLC will be delivered on the day of scheduled compost pickup delivery.  All bottles and ancillary items are under the ownership of Ozark Compost & Swap, LLC and will need to be returned with each refill or cancellation of service.

Refillable coffee will be delivered on the scheduled day of compost pickup.  Refillable coffee canisters may be purchased via Ozark Compost & Swap, LLC website or associated supplier.  Customers who purchase the refillable canister have full ownership over the canister.  Ozark Compost & Swap, LLC will provide coffee ordered by the customer via Ozark Compost & Swap, LLC website. 

Customer 5-Gallon Bucket Responsibility:

Customers will be provided one 5-gallon bucket.  It is the responsibility of each customer to keep the bucket cleaned and maintained after each compost pickup as residual material may form within the bucket.  If a bucket is lost or damaged by the customer a new bucket may be replaced by at the cost to the customer.  Customers are responsible for leaving their bucket outside on the day of scheduled pickup.  Compostable bags will be provided by Ozark Compost & Swap, LLC, but will need to be installed by the customer in case cleaning is required within the bucket.

Customer Refillable Coffee Responsibility:

Customers utilizing the refillable coffee service are responsible for maintaining and keeping refillable coffee canisters clean.  Only canister provided by Ozark Compost & Swap, LLC or approved suppliers may be utilized for the refill program.  Customers are responsible for leaving their canisters outside with their compost bucket on the scheduled day of pickup.  Ozark Compost & Swap, LLC is not responsible for any damages to coffee canisters

Compost Pickup Schedules:

Compost pickup schedules will be set based on customer location and frequency of pickup.  Customers will be notified for pickup day one to two week after purchase of service.  Scheduled pickup dates will be subject to change based on volume of customers.  If scheduled pickup date changes customers will be notified.  Customers will always receive the minimum pickup frequency even if scheduled pickup day changes.

Weather Delays:

If a weather delay incurs, Ozark Compost & Swap, LLC will schedule accordingly when conditions are safe to travel.  Customers will be notified of the new scheduled pickup.

Holiday Schedules:

Ozark Compost & Swap will not do pickup on scheduled holidays.  Pickups will either be schedule before or after the scheduled holiday.  Customers will be notified of the updated pickup schedule.

Cancellation Policy:

A customer may cancel at any time.  If a customer paying monthly cancels there is no cancellation fee.  For customers paying annually, the following month will need to be paid for as a cancellation fee.

Refund Policy:

Swap products and refillable coffee are non-refundable.  If there are issues the product will be returned and replaced.  Service products are refundable based on the cancellation policy and payment type, either annually or monthly.
