WHAT IS COMPOSTING?
In short, composting is the acceleration of the natural process of the decomposition of organic matter. This is done by creating an ideal environment for decomposing organisms such as worms, sowbugs, and nematodes, as well as bacteria and fungi, to do their work more quickly and efficiently. The result of this process is compost. The end product resembles fertile gardening soil, aka “black gold” in the farming, horticulture and agriculture worlds.
You can start getting back to nature – and giving back to the land – without having to leave home. Complete nature’s cycle of renewal by composting.
For years, wisdom throughout the world has said to take only what you need – and use all of what you take. Composting reminds you the benefits of doing your part.
Modern dwelling can limit our ability to cultivate and practice habits to boost and support the Earth’s natural restorative cycles.
